8 One Piece Antagonists Who Have the Power to Become the Pirate King!

Monkey D. Luffy is the main character in One Piece who should be able to achieve his dream of becoming the Pirate King. Even so, there are also many antagonists who have great power and deserve to be the Pirate King. On this occasion, the writer would like to discuss about the antagonist who is also suitable to be the Pirate King besides Luffy!

1. Crocodile


Crocodile before the time skip might not look that strong because he is weak against water so Luffy can beat him. After the time skip, maybe he has found a way to overcome his weakness. And his fighting prowess has certainly increased tremendously.

Together with Luffy, Crocodile escapes from Impel Down and accompanies him to Marineford. Until the end of the Marineford arc, Crocodile also managed to escape from the Marines to form a new group, Cross Guild. If he continues to work with Mihawk and Buggy, maybe he can become the Pirate King.

2. Donquixote Doflamingo


Doflamingo has a very dangerous power, namely the Ito Ito no Mi. With it he can cut objects and even control other people. Previously he was also a Tenryuubito who could even command the Gorosei.

If he continues to stay in Mary Geoise and takes advantage of information from the World Government, Doflamingo may become the Pirate King faster than Luffy.

3. Charlotte Katakuri

4. Marshall D. Teach


As one of the people with the name D, Teach also has the potential to become the Pirate King. He is also the Tenryuubito's natural enemy and one of Im-sama's targets. Teach's development as a pirate was very rapid.

Shortly after becoming a Shichibukai, he was considered a Yonkou for killing Whitebeard and taking the Gura Gura no Mi ability from him. With this he has the power that could destroy the world.

5. Dracule Mihawk


As a man who is called the strongest swordsman in the world, of course Mihawk has what it takes to become the Pirate King. Even more amazing, so far Mihawk has only been acting alone until he joined the Cross Guild led by Crocodile.

6. Douglas Bullet


Bullet is the main antagonist in One Piece Stampede. Although a non-canon character, it is said that Bullet is a former member of Gol D. Roger's crew who is said to be on par with Silver Rayleigh. He can defeat Supernova alone.

He ate the Gasha Gasha no Mi so he has the ability to combine one object with another until it grows in size. Bullet always wanted to beat Roger, but he failed. His great strength is worthy of making him the next Pirate King.

7. Kaido


Kaido is the main antagonist in the Wano arc. He is also one of the Yonkou who is known as the strongest creature that ever existed. The leader of the Beasts Pirates has members who almost all have Zoan abilities (smiles). One thing that is unique about him is that he once tried to commit suicide but failed, because his body was so strong.

Like Big Mom, Kaido is also a former member of the Rocks Pirates. After Rocks died, he left and started his own pirate crew. Kaido ate the Uo Uo no Mi fruit, allowing him to transform into a giant dragon. Of course his strength is very worthy to make him the Pirate King.

8. Big Mom


Charlotte Linlin or better known as Big Mom is one of the Yonkou with a bounty of more than 4 billion Belly. Currently he is the captain of the Big Mom Pirates. His physical strength alone is unmatched, plus he masters the Soru Soru no Mi ability which allows him to manipulate a person's age.

When he was young and beautiful, Big Mom was a member of the Rocks Pirates. After the group was disbanded, then Big Mom made her own group. Uniquely, the Big Mom group consists of a crew consisting of their own biological children. If Big Mom didn't die on Onigashima, she might have a chance to become Pirate King.
