Vincent Ebrahim is a British actor and writer of Indian descent, best known for his portrayal of the character Ashwin Kumar in the British sitcom "The Kumars at No. 42." He was born on September 30, 1959, in Nairobi, Kenya, but grew up in the UK.
Ebrahim started his career in the 1980s, appearing in various television shows and films, including "The Bill" and "London's Burning." In 2001, he was cast as Ashwin Kumar in "The Kumars at No. 42," a sitcom about a British-Indian family who host a chat show from their home. The show was a huge success and ran for several seasons, winning numerous awards and critical acclaim.
